Increase awareness of the Christmas play and capture the energy, magic, and atmosphere of the event. Appeal to both students and parents. Provide the school with high-quality media assets for future promotional use.

Approach

A three-camera setup was used to efficiently film the school's Christmas play, one moving camera for close-ups and dynamic angles, and one fixed wide shot to capture the whole play and the third moving camera to capture the angles behind the stage. This gives the finished edit vitality and diversity. Shotgun microphones recorded clear sound, and manual exposure and steady white balance helped control shifting stage lighting. For the teacher interview, a working environment with soft lighting ensured a polished, comfortable appearance. The promotional vidoes followed social media trends with rapid cuts and commentary, but the trailer and BTS film has a slower rhythm. There are also subtitles for accessibility.
